I will admit that I'm not easy to shop for. When I was a kid, I would often ask my parents for Krismas for computer doo-dadds that they probably didn't even know of, let alone know where to find. And now as I've grown older, I still am fairly particular in what I want, as I have been blessed to have so much in my life, and most of the time, I simply go out and buy something that I really want. So for those who wish to get me a present, I have created this page to help you in that process.

Books
I keep my main wish list of books at Amazon, although you might find better deals on some of them at Barnes and Noble.
Clothing
My clothing usually has a message to it. Here are some ideas for some of them. BTW, I usually wear blacks, whites, grays, blues, greens, purples, etc. I generally avoid reds, oranges and yellows.
Professional
Neck Ties
For anyone who knows me in the professional capacity as an instructor, knows that I regularly wear interesting neck ties. I especially like to wear ties that can be used as a teaching tool or conversation piece, such as the tie I designed about Tesla and Grace Murray Hopper. (So don't get me those, because I already have them!)
Some of the places where you can find interesting ties, include My Favorites on Zazzle and my wish list on Amazon also lists some of the ones I want. Or for a truly unique gift, design your own. You can also always get me a nice dress shirt, that I can wear the tie with (size XL, or 18)
Dress Shirts
I generally prefer solid color sateen dress shirts, and I wear a size 17 1/2. I really like Geoffrey Beene, but also like George.
Slacks
When I dress professionally, I only wear black slacks. This keeps things easy for me! :-) I prefer Flex-Fit so that as my weight fluctuates (preferably decreases :-) the pants still will fit well.
Personal
T-Shirts
I'm more picky about T-shirts than ties. I don't wear T-shirts as often as ties, but when I do, I like to also wear a t-shirt that says something that is intellectually stimulating, or supports a cause that I support. We live in the information age, and I am careful in what I want to communicate to the world. I wear size XL.
Boxers
Ok, so this is a little more intimate. But I also generally wear boxers that have some sort of message on them. But since these are obviously not a message I share with the public, I usually will get something that helps focus my mind on my tasks or theme for the day, but often in a humorous or ironic way. For instance, one of my favorite pair of boxers that I currently own has Homer Simpson balancing a pencil on his nose, and says "Employee of the Month"; another favorite of mine simply says "Colege Graduat". I generally wear XL boxers (although I'm working to slim back down to a L)
